Stock Farm Road Inc., in partnership with Hillwood, a Perot Company, and the Government of South Korea, Forge Partnership to Establish Groundbreaking Industrial and Innovation Corridor: K-Tex Initiative

[Fort Worth, Texas] – [Date: 10/07/2025] – Stock Farm Road Inc (‘SFR’) and Hillwood, with the government of South Korea, today announced an agreement in principle to create a comprehensive, long-term industrial and innovation corridor, known as the K-Tex Initiative. This strategic partnership aims to align U.S. and Korean economic interests, revitalize American manufacturing, and promote innovation in key sectors. The announcement was made during a visit by representatives of the Republic of Korea, led by Lee Eon-ju, a Member of the National Assembly and the Supreme Council (Democratic Party of Korea), to the proposed K-Tex site within AllianceTexas, hosted by Ross Perot Jr., Chairman of Hillwood and the Perot Companies.

The strategic cooperation between the United States and Korea is exemplified in many domains, including the strategic discussions now around the tariffs and Korean investment into the United States. K-Tex represents the embodiment of a win-win, where leaders are putting together the frameworks to support Korean innovation and investment and growth into the US and into the North American market through the US.

“We support this initiative in every way that the Korean government can, including helping to find candidates that would benefit in Korea, including providing guarantees and providing financial support,” said Koo Yun-cheol, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Economy and Finance, Republic of Korea, speaking in Seoul before the visit.

Korean delegation leader Lee Eon-ju said, '"The K-Tex partnership between the United States and Korea, is a testament to our shared vision for economic growth and innovation. We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment that benefits both our nations, driving advancements in key sectors and creating opportunities for businesses and communities alike.”

Amin Badr El Din, Chairman and Founder of SFR, stated, "SFR is incredibly excited to be a part of this groundbreaking initiative. The K-Tex project represents a unique opportunity to foster international collaboration, drive innovation, and create significant economic opportunities for both the U.S. and Korea. There are substantial opportunities for example to locate in K-Tex the high tech manufacturing facilities which are a vital part of the supply chain for shipping and nuclear industries. "

Brian Koo, CEO and Founder of SFR, commented, "K-Tex is a testament to the power of vision and partnership. We are proud to work alongside Hillwood and the Korean government to build a world-class industrial and innovation corridor that will shape the future of manufacturing and technology."

The Republic of Korea delegation included:, Kim Jun-hyuk, Member of the National Assembly for Suwon-D (Democratic Party of Korea), Kim Yong-min, Member of the National Assembly for Namyangju-3 (Democratic Party of Korea) and  Jeon Yong-gi, Member of the National Assembly for Hwaseong-D (Democratic Party of Korea), and Dr. Soo Jong Kwak, Director of the Lien Economic Research Institute.

Leveraging over 35 years of Hillwood’s operational expertise at AllianceTexas, the K-Tex Initiative seeks to support South Korea's ambitious $350 billion investment plan in the US. The investment plan will focus on sectors such as shipbuilding, nuclear energy, artificial intelligence (AI), and smart manufacturing.

Hillwood will serve as the primary real estate partner, constructing the necessary infrastructure, shell buildings, and logistics hubs tailored for high-tech industries. SFR will contribute its extensive experience in industry connections, marketing, and service offerings. SFR's role includes facilitating introductions to Korean firms, managing branding and marketing, and delivering a full suite of support services to enable Korean companies to seamlessly establish operations in North America.

The K-Tex Initiative is structured around an adaptable partnership model supported by incentives such as Korean government-backed sovereign guarantees and export-import (EXIM) support. Industry focus includes the creation of smart manufacturing plants for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, clean tech, and critical AI infrastructure components such as transformers and control systems, designed to meet stringent standards of nuclear and defense electronics industries.

Beyond infrastructure, the partnership embodies the “Physical AI” vision set out by the Korean President during his recent visit to the US and meetings with President Trump and emphasizes Korea as a major player in physical AI , leveraging Korea's global leadership in robotics and hardware automation. Aligned with President Trump's goals of reshoring American industry, the K-Tex Initiative will establish a "Korea Hub,"integrating logistics, transportation, and distribution capabilities with the goal of supporting Korean exports, enabling global distribution, and linking supply chains across South America, Europe, and Asia. The project aims to generate thousands of jobs, expand US-Korea trade, and foster a global network of alliances across the US and other strategic markets.

The partnership promotes trade while strengthening Korea's strategic footprint in the global economy and US-Korea relations. Through this collaboration, both countries aim to foster innovation-driven industry growth, secure resilient supply chains, and establish the region as a leader in advanced manufacturing, AI, and smart infrastructure development.
